A landlocked country in South Asia, located at the eastern end of the Himalayas being bordered by China and India, Bhutan is one of the world’s smaller country’s with a population of just over 700,000.

However, thanks to the efforts of the national federation, the sport of table tennis is making progress.

They have a purpose built training hall in the southern part of the country and they are planning to build a second such building.

Now a programme is in place which targets young people with a successful training camp, aimed at teaching basic skills, having been held earlier in the year in January under the guidance of Dala Thinley.

Growth Imminent
A total of 80 players attended the Training Camp.

Now further Traing Camp are planned; growth and progress would appear to be the watchwords in Bhutan.
