In Chengdu, the Heat is On, a Hot Spot for Table Tennis

07/20/2012        2012 Chengdu Junior & Cadet Open - ITTF Premium Junior Circuit

Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province in south west China, is once again the host for an ITTF Junior Circuit tournament.

The Chengdu Junior and Cadet Open will be staged from Wednesday 19th to Sunday 23rd September 2012.

It is a city with a reputation for “Hot Pot”; furthermore, in previous editions of the tournament the competition has been very hot with many of China’s leading young players present.

Furthermore, the tournament is followed by the Taicang Junior and Cadet Open which starts on Wednesday 26th September 2012.

Two high level tournaments beckon.

ITTF Global Junior Circuit, Premium Tournament
The 2012 Chengdu Junior and Cadet Open will feature singles, doubles and team events in the junior and cadet categories.

Prize Fund
The Organizing Committee offers a prize fund of US$ 9,600 USD; there is a 20% tax deduction.

Training Camp
A Training Camp in Chengdu will be staged prior to the tournament. The training camp expert will be Mr. Zheng Jing.

Maximum Number of Entries
A maximum of 230 entries is accepted.

Deadlines
Preliminary entry forms should be returned by Tuesday 31st July 2012 with final entry forms returned by Saturday 25th August 2012.
