An established tournament on the ITTF Junior Circuit with a long and distinguished history, the Spanish Junior and Cadet Open will be held from Wednesday 9th to Sunday 13th May 2012.
Traditionally, the home is Platja d’Aro and once again the tourist resort, situated on the Costa Brava in Catalonia, will be the host.
Undoubtedly the standard of play will be high and a large number of players will compete.
Therefore, the Royal Spanish Table Tennis Federation invites 30 International Umpires to officiate at the event.
Nominations In practice will international tournaments, only nominations from bona fide national governing bodies will be accepted.
Hospitality and Transport Hospitality in a double room from dinner on Tuesday 8th May to breakfast on Monday 14th May is offered with the usual pocket money provided; furthermore, transport will be provided from and to the airports in Barcelona and Girona as well as the Bracelona Railway Station.
Referee Spain’s José Jaime Murcia (International Referee) is the Referee for the tournament.
Dates to Note The closing date for nominations is Wednesday 18th April 2012; the list of umpires selected will be advised on or before Wednesday 18th April 2012.
