The morning of Thursday 4th February 2010 was the last practice session for the2009 ITTF World Hopes Team in Budapest prior to the 15th International Tournament in memory of Janos Molnar.
Practice over, a healthy lunch and then a shopping trip into the city.
It was a relaxing way to prepare for the battles ahead.
The players will be competing in the Mini Cadet events.
Particular Interest Furthermore, the coaches have a particular interest in proceedings.
The tournament is traditionally only for boys but the organisers have given permission for two female members of the 2009 ITTF World Hopes Team to compete; Thailand’s Tamolwan Khetkuen and Egypt’s Salma Khaled.
Certainly there is a great deal of interest as to how they will fare against the boys!
Group Members The full group in action is Tamolwan Khetkuen (Thailand), Salma Khaled (Egypt) and Christos Christonof (Cyprus) who will be competing in the events for players born on or after 1st January 2010.
Accompanying the party is Parinya Nonsagate (Thailand), Youssef Rabie (Egypt), Adrian Simion (Cyprus) plus from the International Table Tennis Federation, Zita Pidl and Dejan Papic.
