In 1995, a dreadful car accident ended the young life of Janos Molnar.
Travelling to a Hungarian Mini-Cadet tournament, the Molnar family was involved in a dreadful car accident.
Young brother Krisztian survived but elder brother Janos and mother were both killed.
The following year, an international tournament was inaugurated in the Hungarian capital city of Budapest in memory of Janos Molnar.
From Thursday 4th to Sunday 7th February 2010, the 15th staging of the event will be held in the BVSC Table Tennis Centre, some 20 minutes from the centre of Budapest.

BVSC BVSC takes its name from the Budapesti Vasutas Sport Club, the Railway Sports Club, being founded in 1911with table tennis being the most prominent sport.
ITTF World Hopes Team “Competing in the event are three members of the 2009 ITTF World Hopes Team”, explained Zita Pidl, who was the Manager of the ITTF World Hopes Team in 2009 and continues in that role in 2010. “Chistos Christonof of Cyprus, Tamolwan Khertkuen and Salma Khaled of Egypt are all playing.”
