Spectacular Climb for Yu Ziyang as New Generation Advances to Greater Heights

Winner of the Menís Singles title at the recent GAC Group 2014 ITTF World Tour Japan Open in Yokohama, Chinaís Yu Ziyang makes a meteoric climb up the Menís World Rankings published by the International Table Tennis Federation on Wednesday 9th July.

The 16 year old moves from no.182 to a career high of no.43 on a list that sees the top names remain the same but several young aspiring players make notable progress, as a result of their international efforts in June.
