Celebration Time, Ma Long Completes One Year Uninterupted in Top Spot

Accession to the top spot on the Menís World Rankings in March 2015; Chinaís Ma Long completes one year at the very pinnacle; he is named in first position on the listing published by the International Table Tennis Federation on Wednesday 3rd February.

Overall it is the 42nd time on the monthly publications that his name has appeared on the highest line; he first appeared at the head of the list in January 2010.

One Step Short in Budapest but Reward for Yang Haeun

Doubles titles a plenty but such an accolade in a Womenís Singles events on the ITTF World Tour remains elusive. Recently in Budapest, for the third time in her career, she had to settle for the second step of the podium; at the final hurdle she was beaten by Hong Kongís Tie Yana.
