Penultimate Round Defeat in Sweden but Xu Xin Retains Top Spot

Beaten by compatriot Fang Bo at the semi-final stage of the Menís Singles event at the GAC Group 2014 ITTF World Tour Swedish Open, nevertheless, Chinaís Xu Xin retains his place at the top of the Menís World Rankings.

He is named at no.1 on the listings issued by the International Table Tennis Federation on Wednesday 3rd December.

Similarly the next four names in the order, all retain their November positions. Xu Xinís colleagues Ma Long, Fan Zhendong and Zhang Jike, alongside Japanís Jun MIzutani are once again the next in line.....
