Malmö, Sweden, 23 November 2003. CHEN Qi (CHN) on Sunday played his second Pro Tour singles final but he still has to wait for his first title. In the Swedish Open final in the Men’s Singles he lost 4-2 to his compatriot WANG Liqin.

Zhang Yining - took her 5th title this year |
Malmö, Sweden, 23 November 2003. Since last autumn ZHANG Yining has played 10 Pro Tour events – the Grand Finals 2002 included – and she won 9 of them. Only at the Japan Open she missed it by losing in the round of the last 16 – to compatriot GUO Yan.

Malmö, Sweden, 23 November 2003. Already before the Swedish Open GUO Yue and NIU Jianfeng (CHN) were sure to end on top of the Pro Tour Standings in Women’s Doubles – however they did not want to settle with that, they also took home the last title of the year winning the final in Malmö on Sunday.

Malmö, Sweden, 23 November 2003. Ai FUKUHARA (JPN) lost in the early rounds of the Women’s Singles, but in the Under 21 tournament she went right to the end to take the Swedish title. In the final FUKUHARA bat Georgina POTA (HUN).
