Fuzhou, China, 14 September 2003. The last non Chinese player RYU Seung-Min (KOR) said goodbye to the Panasonic China Open beaten in the semi-finals in the Men’s Singles by WANG Hao (CHN).
RYU, who earlier in the tournament upset local favourites YAN Sen and CHEN Qi en route, wasn’t even close against WANG Hao. The World’s No. 8. WANG won 4-1.
