Easy Chinese win

Rotterdam, 28 October 2001. The young Chinese pair NIU Jianfeng/BAI Yang took their 4th title this year winning the final in women’s doubles at the Rutac Dutch Open. RYU Ji Hye/KIM Moo Kyo (KOR) couldn’t harm the Chinese who took the victory 4-0. Only in the 4^th game the Koreans were in the game leading 6-2. The Chinese though caught up and took it 12-10.

NIU and BAI have already taken the titles at the US Open,  the China Open and the Croatian Open this year and nobody is even close to them in the Pro Tour standing. NIU and BAI could already be called the doubles pair of 2001.
