  • Player Behavior: Player yells, screams or shouts at the umpire or assistant umpire.
  • Umpire action: First time in a match: Immediate point penalty - Warning with display of Yellow card. Stay calm, avoid direct eye contact or confrontational looks with the player, NEVER exchange angry words or argue with the player, look at the net, calmly motion player to continue with the match. Second and subsequent time in the same match: Point penalty - one/two points to opponent - with display of Red / Yellow cards. Request the Referee - who has the option to default the player from this match or the entire tournament.
