It is the responsibility of the player to serve so that the umpire or the assistant umpire can see that he complies with the requirements for a good service
- Player action:
This service is hidden from the umpire by the server and from the assistant umpire by the doubles partner.
- Umpire action:
Fault serve.
Advise player that he must serve so that the umpire or the assistant umpire can see that he complies with the requirements for a good service. Please note that with the presence of an Assistant Umpire in the match, it is no longer possible to warn a player on the first occurrence of a doubtful serve.
