  • Service rule: 2.6.4 From the start of service until it is struck, the ball shall be above the level of the playing surface and behind the server's end line;
  • Player action: The ball in the free hand did not start behind the end line and was struck over the table. The ball was also hidden from the receiver.
  • Umpire action: Fault serve. Advise player that the ball must start and stay behind the end line during the service action.
