Located in Luxembourg, attendance at the China Table Tennis College-Europe is the goal; it is the venue that will host the 2017 ITTF World Hopes Week and Challenge from Friday 11th to Thursday 17th August.

Following the gathering in the Grand Duchy, the Hopes Team will be selected for the ITTF World Cadet Challenge to be organised in Suva, Fiji from Saturday 21st October to Sunday 29th October.

Suva in the ultimate but the road to Suva starts very much with national associations; alongside continental federations, they have a key role to play in the Hopes Programme.

The role is to organise opportunities that give talent the chance to emerge and be nurtured.

In 2017 the Continental Hopes Week and Challenge schedule is:

Africa, Tunis, Tunisia: Tuesday 28th March – Sunday 2nd April

Oceania, Tweeds Heads, Australia: Saturday 1st April – Thursday 6th April

Europe, China Table Tennis College-Europe, Luxembourg: Monday 17th April – Monday 24th April

North America, Dunellen, New Jersey, USA: Saturday 29th – Sunday 30th April

Asia, Bangkok, Thailand: Sunday 30th April – Tuesday 9th May

Latin America, Lima, Peru (held in 2016, Tuesday 18th – Sunday 23rd October)
