The Organising Committee invites five International Umpires to officiate at the forthcoming São Paulo 2017 Youth Parapan American Games to be staged in the Brazilian city from Tuesday 21st March to Friday 24th March.

Preference will be given to umpires from the Pan American continent.

It is an open invitation. Therefore not all nominations may be accepted.

Furthermore only nominations submitted by bona fide national associations will be considered.

The local organising committee will provide economy class air tickets from the airport closest to the city of origin to São Paulo; the official date of arrival is Sunday 19th March, departure is Saturday 25th March.

Each umpire will receive an allowance of US$ 65.00 per day, payments will be made in cash in Brazilian Reals.

Breakfast and dinner will be served at the hotel, lunch at the competition venue.

Should a nominated umpire require a visa, kindly send relevant details when submitting the nomination (full name as in passport, date of birth, place of birth, passport number, expiry date of passport). A visa will be provided.

Umpires must wear the International umpiring uniforms as described in the Handbook for Match Officials.

Evaluations for Blue Badge and Blue Badge in Progress Umpires will not be conducted.

The closing date for nominations is Monday 16th January.
